اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ ۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلَا نَوْمٌ ۚ لَّهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ
TransliterationAllahu la ilaha illa huwa al-hayyul-qayyum
TranslationAllah there is no deity except Him, the Ever-Living, the Sustainer of all. Neither drowsiness nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth.

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ، خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ، وَأَنَا عَلَىٰ عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ، أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ، أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَيَّ، وَأَبُوءُ بِذَنْبِي فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ
TransliterationAllahumma anta rabbi la ilaha illa ant...
TranslationO Allah, You are my Lord. There is no deity except You. You have created me, and I am Your servant. I abide by Your covenant and Your promise as best as I can. I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done. I acknowledge Your blessings upon me, and I acknowledge my sin. So forgive me, for surely no one forgives sins except You.

TransliterationQul huwa Allahu ahad...
TranslationSay: He is Allah, the One and Only Allah, the Eternal, Absolute He begetteth not, nor is He begotten And there is none like unto Him.

TransliterationQul a'udhu bi rabbil-falaq...
TranslationSay, “I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak From the evil of that which He created And from the evil of darkness when it settles And from the evil of the blowers in knots And from the evil of an envier when he envies.”

TranslationSay, "I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind The Sovereign of mankind The God of mankind From the evil of the retreating whisperer Who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind From among the jinn and mankind "

أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
TransliterationAsbahna wa asbahal-mulku lillah...
TranslationWe have entered the morning, and the dominion belongs to Allah. All praise is due to Allah. There is no deity except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs the dominion, and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things capable.

Protection from Harm with Allah's Name
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الَّذِي لَا يَضُرُّ مَعَ اسْمِهِ شَيْءٌ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلَا فِي السَّمَاءِ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ
TransliterationBismillahilladhi la yadurru ma'as-mihi shay'un fil-ardi wa la fis-sama'i wa huwas-sami'ul-'alim
TranslationIn the name of Allah with whose name nothing is harmed on earth nor in the heavens, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

TransliterationRaditu billahi rabba, wa bil-islami dina, wa bi Muhammadin nabiyya
TranslationI am pleased with Allah as Lord, Islam as religion, and Muhammad ﷺ as Prophet.

Protection through Reliance on Allah
حَسْبِيَ اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ
TransliterationHasbiyallahu la ilaha illa huwa 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa huwa rabbul-'arshil-'azeem
TranslationSufficient for me is Allah; there is no deity except Him. On Him I have relied, and He is the Lord of the Great Throne.

اللَّهُمَّ مَا أَصْبَحَ بِي مِنْ نِعْمَةٍ أَوْ بِأَحَدٍ مِنْ خَلْقِكَ فَمِنْكَ وَحْدَكَ لَا شَرِيكَ لَكَ، فَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ وَلَكَ الشُّكْرُ
TransliterationAllahumma ma asbaha bi min ni'matin...
TranslationO Allah, whatever blessing I or any of Your creation have received this morning is from You alone, without partner. So, to You belongs all praise and to You belongs all gratitude.

Morning Protection

TranslationWe have reached the morning and at this very time all sovereignty belongs to Allah. All praise is for Allah.

TransliterationAllahumma innī as'aluka bi-raḥmatikal-latī wasi'at kulla shay'in an taghfira lī.
TranslationO Allah, I ask You by Your mercy which encompasses all things, that You forgive me.
