رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
TransliterationRabbi zidni 'ilma
TranslationMy Lord, increase me in knowledge.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ، وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ، وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ
TransliterationAllahumma inni astakhiruka bi'ilmika, wa astaqdiruka biqudratika, wa as'aluka min fadlikal-'azim
TranslationO Allah, I seek Your guidance by virtue of Your knowledge, and I seek ability by virtue of Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty.

اللَّهُمَّ انْفَعْنِي بِمَا عَلَّمْتَنِي وَعَلِّمْنِي مَا يَنْفَعُنِي وَزِدْنِي عِلْماً
TransliterationAllahumman-fa'ni bima 'allamtani wa 'allimni ma yanfa'uni wa zidni 'ilma
TranslationO Allah, benefit me with what You have taught me, teach me that which will benefit me, and increase me in knowledge.

رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي * وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي
TransliterationRabbish-rah li sadri * Wa yassir li amri
TranslationMy Lord, expand for me my chest * And ease for me my task.
05
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالتُّقَى وَالْعَفَافَ وَالْغِنَى
TransliterationAllahumma inni as'alukal-huda wat-tuqa wal-'afafa wal-ghina
TranslationO Allah, I ask You for guidance, piety, chastity, and self-sufficiency.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ كُلِّهِ عَاجِلِهِ وَآجِلِهِ مَا عَلِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَمَا لَمْ أَعْلَمْ
TransliterationAllahumma inni as'aluka minal-khayri kullihi 'ajilihi wa ajilihi ma 'alimtu minhu wa ma lam a'lam
TranslationO Allah, I ask You for all that is good, in this world and the Hereafter, what I know and what I do not know.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا
TransliterationAllahumma inni as'aluka 'ilman nafi'a
TranslationO Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge.
08
اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي لِأَحْسَنِ الْأَخْلَاقِ لَا يَهْدِي لِأَحْسَنِهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ وَاصْرِفْ عَنِّي سَيِّئَهَا لَا يَصْرِفُ عَنِّي سَيِّئَهَا إِلَّا أَنْتَ
TransliterationAllahumma ihdini li-ahsanil-akhlaqi la yahdi li-ahsaniha illa anta wasrif 'anni sayyi'aha la yasrifu 'anni sayyi'aha illa anta
TranslationO Allah, guide me to the best of characters, for none guides to the best of them except You. And turn away from me the evil of them, for none can turn away from me the evil of them except You.
09
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْيُمْنَ فِي الْأَمْرِ كُلِّهِ
TransliterationAllahumma inni as'alukal-yumna fil-amri kullih
TranslationO Allah, I ask You for blessings in all matters.
10
رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ الرَّاحِمِينَ
TransliterationRabbana amanna faghfir lana warhamna wa anta khayrur-rahimeen
TranslationOur Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful.

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى وَالسَّدَادَ
TransliterationAllahumma inni as'alukal-huda was-sadad
TranslationO Allah, I ask You for guidance and steadfastness.
12
اللَّهُمَّ اهْدِنِي وَسَدِّدْنِي
TransliterationAllahumma ihdini wa saddidni
TranslationO Allah, guide me and make me steadfast.
13
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْهُدَى فِي الْأَمْرِ كُلِّهِ
TransliterationAllahumma inni as'alukal-huda fil-amri kullih
TranslationO Allah, I ask You for guidance in all matters.
14
اللَّهُمَّ أَلْهِمْنِي رُشْدِي وَقِنِي شَرَّ نَفْسِي
TransliterationAllahumma alhimni rushdi wa qini sharra nafsi
TranslationO Allah, inspire me with guidance and protect me from the evil of my soul.
15
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الْجَنَّةَ وَمَا قَرَّبَ إِلَيْهَا مِنْ قَوْلٍ أَوْ عَمَلٍ
TransliterationAllahumma inni as'alukal-jannata wa ma qarraba ilayha min qawlin aw 'amal
TranslationO Allah, I ask You for Paradise and for that which brings one closer to it, in word and deed.
16
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ وَمِنْ نَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ وَمِنْ دَعْوَةٍ لَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَهَا
TransliterationAllahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'ilmin la yanfa'u wa min qalbin la yakhsha'u wa min nafsin la tashba'u wa min da'watin la yustajabu laha
TranslationO Allah, I seek refuge in You from knowledge that does not benefit, a heart that does not humble itself, a soul that is not satisfied, and a supplication that is not answered.
17
رَبَّنَا لَا تُزِغْ قُلُوبَنَا بَعْدَ إِذْ هَدَيْتَنَا وَهَبْ لَنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً إِنَّكَ أَنتَ الْوَهَّابُ
TransliterationRabbana la tuzigh quloobana ba'da idh hadaytana wa hab lana min ladunka rahmah innaka antal-wahhab
TranslationOur Lord, do not let our hearts deviate after You have guided us and grant us from Yourself mercy. Indeed, You are the Bestower.
18
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ الثَّبَاتَ فِي الْأَمْرِ وَالْعَزِيمَةَ عَلَى الرُّشْدِ
TransliterationAllahumma inni as'alukath-thabata fil-amri wal-'azeemata 'alar-rushd
TranslationO Allah, I ask You for steadfastness in all matters and determination in following the right path.
19
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ فَهْمَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَحِفْظَ الْمُرْسَلِينَ
TransliterationAllahumma inni as'aluka fahman-nabiyyeena wa hifzal-mursaleen
TranslationO Allah, I ask You for the understanding of the prophets and the memory of the messengers.
20
اللَّهُمَّ اجْعَلْنِي هَادِيًا مَهْدِيًّا
TransliterationAllahumma-j'alni hadiyan mahdiyya
TranslationO Allah, make me a guide and guided.
21
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْتَخِيرُكَ بِعِلْمِكَ وَأَسْتَقْدِرُكَ بِقُدْرَتِكَ وَأَسْأَلُكَ مِنْ فَضْلِكَ الْعَظِيمِ فَإِنَّكَ تَقْدِرُ وَلَا أَقْدِرُ وَتَعْلَمُ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ وَأَنْتَ عَلَّامُ الْغُيُوبِ اللَّهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ خَيْرٌ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي فَاقْدُرْهُ لِي وَيَسِّرْهُ لِي ثُمَّ بَارِكْ لِي فِيهِ وَإِنْ كُنْتَ تَعْلَمُ أَنَّ هَذَا الْأَمْرَ شَرٌّ لِي فِي دِينِي وَمَعَاشِي وَعَاقِبَةِ أَمْرِي فَاصْرِفْهُ عَنِّي وَاصْرِفْنِي عَنْهُ وَاقْدُرْ لِيَ الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُ كَانَ ثُمَّ أَرْضِنِي بِهِ
TransliterationAllahumma inni astakheeruka bi'ilmika wa astaqdiruka biqudratika wa as'aluka min fadlikal-'azeem fa'innaka taqdiru wa la aqdiru wa ta'lamu wa la a'lamu wa anta 'allamul-ghuyoob. Allahumma in kunta ta'lamu anna hadhal-amra khayrun li fi deeni wa ma'ashi wa 'aqibati amri faqdirhu li wa yassirhu li thumma barik li fih. Wa in kunta ta'lamu anna hadhal-amra sharrun li fi deeni wa ma'ashi wa 'aqibati amri fasrifhu 'anni wasrifni 'anhu waqdir liyal-khayra haythu kana thumma ardini bih
TranslationO Allah, I seek Your guidance by Your knowledge, I seek Your help by Your power, and I ask You of Your great bounty. For indeed You have power and I have none, You know and I know not, and You are the Knower of the unseen. O Allah, if You know that this matter is good for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affair, then decree it for me, make it easy for me, and bless me in it. And if You know that this matter is evil for me in my religion, my livelihood, and the outcome of my affair, then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and decree for me good wherever it may be, and then make me content with it.
