Friday has supplications particular to it, and this page collects them: what is said on the day itself, the sending of blessings upon the Prophet which is emphasised on Friday, and the duas connected to the hour in which supplication is described as answered. Each entry carries the Arabic text, a transliteration, an English translation and its source. Several duas said at the prayer itself appear on the Salah page rather than here, since they are not specific to Jumu‘ah; that page is linked below.

Authentic Laylatul Qadr Supplication

اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي

TransliterationAllahumma innaka 'Afuwwun tuḥibbul-'afwa fa'fu 'anni.

TranslationO Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me.

When to say it: Last hour of Friday (most accepted dua time)
Meaning: Prefer form without "kareem" (research notes scribal variant).

Salawat on Prophet ﷺ

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَىٰ مُحَمَّدٍ وَعَلَىٰ آلِ مُحَمَّدٍ

TransliterationAllahumma salli 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala ali Muhammad

TranslationO Allah, send prayers upon Muhammad and upon the family of Muhammad.

When to say it: Sending blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ especially on Fridays
Meaning: Sending salawat on Friday is greatly emphasized.
